Roto Pumps targets double-digit growth with new P-Range launch
Roto Pumps, one of the leading manufacturers of positive displacement pumps with over five decades of fluid handling excellence, recently launched its Roto P-Range compact pumps. Engineered for superior performance and durability, the new range is set to transform critical industrial sectors such as oil & gas, mining, wastewater treatment, and food processing across markets. With its latest products, Roto Pumps continues its commitment to providing efficient, reliable, and sustainable pumping solutions while expanding its global footprint. Established in 1968, Roto Pumps provides reliable solutions to a diverse range of industries.
“This innovation is expected to drive our growth significantly. We are not just manufacturing pumps; we are delivering reliability and sustainability. Roto has unveiled an ambitious plan to achieve $100 million in revenue by 2028. With the introduction of the Roto P-Range, we are reaffirming Roto’s position as a global force in fluid handling,” said Harish Chandra Gupta, CMD, Roto Pumps.
With a sharp focus on both mature and high-growth emerging markets, Roto Pumps expects the P-Range to drive double-digit global market share growth and significantly boost international revenues. This launch also supports the company’s strategic expansion across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia – regions where demand for robust, energy-efficient pumping solutions is rising rapidly. With a presence in over 55 countries, 7 overseas establishments, and over 325,000 successful pump installations, Roto Pumps has built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and customer-centricity. In India, the company operates from five advanced manufacturing facilities.
“Our commitment to R&D, infrastructure modernisation, and automation is enabling us to scale up delivery and respond faster to global customer needs,” adds Anurag Gupta, Jt MD, Roto Pumps. The Roto P-Range is a cornerstone of Roto’s ambitious roadmap to expand into 100+ countries while reinforcing its leadership in the positive displacement pump segment. As industries globally shift towards smarter, more sustainable fluid management systems, the company is well-positioned to lead this transformation. Future growth will be powered by continued innovation, strategic international partnerships, and a customer-first approach in delivering resilient, energy-efficient, and high-performance pumping technologies.

Roto Pumps is ambitiously working towards its expansion by establishing new branches and subsidiaries across continents and aims to be among the top five positive displacement pump manufacturers. Currently, exports contribute two-thirds of the company’s sales. It also plans to identify and export to new markets to increase its market share. With new products and new segments, the company’s business strategy is to maintain its leadership position in the domestic market while expanding in global markets. “The Roto P-Range was developed with a sharp focus on end-user requirements – ease of installation, low maintenance, and precision in performance. It reflects our legacy of engineering excellence and our vision of solving real-world fluid handling challenges with intelligent, application-specific solutions,” explains Arvind Gupta, Dy MD, Roto Pumps.
Product development and expansion
The pump maker is undergoing a major expansion with a total investment of Rs56.82 crore, aimed at enhancing production capabilities. It is also entering the solar submersible pump segment, another area of potential growth. For this purpose, a new plant is being developed with an investment of Rs33 crore, the majority of which will be dedicated to creating a solar pump manufacturing facility. The new plant will be ready for operations in the first quarter of 2026. The company is also doubling its screw pump assembly capacity to 2,000 units per month and upgrading testing, storage, and manufacturing for triple screw pumps at its Greater Noida plant. Roto Pumps is investing in high-precision CNC machines imported from various countries for modernisation, manufacturing, and to boost capacity for large rotors and downhole pump testing.
To achieve its $100 million target by 2028 – which also marks the company’s 60th anniversary – Roto is expanding its sales and marketing team and strengthening infrastructure by expanding warehousing facilities. New offices are planned in Thailand, Russia, and Japan. The company also aims to increase brand awareness in both local and global markets and to enter the e-commerce space for select products for customer convenience.
With both a local and global presence, Roto has successfully installed over 3.25 lakh pumps for 12,000 customers. Currently, Roto Pumps is ranked seventh globally in progressive cavity pump manufacturing. Company officials are confident that, as India continues to grow, Roto Pumps is ideally positioned to serve across sectors and play a key role in India’s industrial progress.
