Ambee is an air quality data network that aims to make cities smarter
Ambee is an air quality data network that aims to make cities smarter, people healthier and informed decisions when it comes to air pollution. Ambee’s technologies use a combination of satellite and meteorological information in addition to granular IoT data to predict and forecast air quality, with greater accuracy and detail than low cost sensors on the market. With extremely high accuracy, the company is able to predict air quality on a block-by-block basis of a city, across the globe.
To develop and refine its models, Ambee uses aqi (Air Quality) sensors, carbon emission sensors, temperature and humidity data, dust, noise and uv sensors hooked to a Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi module to send data to a central Web server which converts it into user friendly information designed as a dashboard on a Web application.
Unlike conventional air quality monitors, Ambee’s technologies build data models using open source and propriety data. The amalgamation of these allows Ambee to scale its product to benefit both public and private efforts to address harmful air pollution. Its product has already caught the interest of policy makers, healthcare professionals, academics and insurance underwriters, among others.
Backed by its unique approach to air quality data science, Ambee has earned a position as a reliable source of information. Its data dashboard hopes to help save lives, especially that of younger adults and children to offer them and their future generations quality life and good health.
Ambee is guided by a partnership of three data enthusiasts, Akshay Joshi, ceo and founder, Madhusudhan Anand, cto and founder, and Jaideep Singh Bachher, coo and founder. The company has captured the patronage of leading experts and well-wishers including senior Googlers and Xooglers and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
